About Baylor University Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble

The Baylor Euphonium-Tuba Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Kent Eshelman, has performed at international tuba-euphonium conferences (ITECs) in Bloomington, IN, and Knoxville, TN; the U.S. Army Band Tuba-Euphonium Workshop in Washington, D.C.; and regional tuba-euphonium conferences in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas. The current members of the ensemble study euphonium and tuba with Dr. Eshelman while pursuing degrees in music education, music performance, composition, conducting, business, and engineering. Baylor University, in Waco, Texas, is a private Christian university and a nationally ranked research institution. Chartered in 1845 by the Republic of Texas through the efforts of Baptist pioneers, Baylor is the oldest continually operating university in Texas and the largest Baptist university in the world.
