About Tomás Alemany Rosaleny

Born in Albal, Valencia (Spain). Tomás Alemany Rosaleny began his tuba studies at the age of 9.

After receiving his Bachelor of Music degree and postgraduate work with honors from the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música in Madrid, under the tutelage of Miguel Moreno Guna,  obtained his Master's Degree in Tuba Performance in the Koninklijk Conservatorium in the Hague (Netherlands) by the supervision of Hendrik Jan Renes.

He has been Principal Tuba of the Orquesta Filharmónica de la Universitat de Valencia, Jove Orquesta Sinfónica de Catalunya, and Orquesta Sinfónica de Yucatán and has collaborated with profesional ensambles as Orquesta de Valencia, Radio Kammer Orkest, Residentie Orkest, Rotterdam Philarmonic, Orquesta Sinfónica Universidad de Guanajuato and Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Republica Dominicana.  

As conductor, tuba teacher and instructor he participated recently in Festival Internacional Instrumenta 2012, Tlauitoltepec, Oaxaca.  Mérida International Brass Festival in Yucatán 2014,   Festival Laguna Brass 2015 in Torreón, Coahuila and the Festival AETYB Valencia (Spain) 2016

He is currently Tuba Professor and symphonic band director in the Universidad de Guadalajara and Principal Tuba in the Orquesta Filarmónica de Jalisco.
